Michael L. Laney

Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Laney joined Aletheia in June 2010 as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Laney has an extensive background as a senior executive in entertainment, manufacturing, consumer products, energy and education companies. He was Vice President of Operations at Walt Disney Feature Animation and then joined Warner Bros. as Senior Vice President and founder of Warner Bros. Feature Animation. During his tenure at Warner Bros., the Fortune 50 division developed and produced three animated movies: Space Jam, Quest for Camelot and Iron Giant. Mr. Laney began his career as a CPA with Deloitte & Touche specializing in Taxation. He has been a Professor of Accounting at three major Universities and founded his own CPA firm in Beverly Hills specializing in financial management. Mr. Laney earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, cum laude, from California State University, Northridge and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of California Los Angeles.
