Chief Compliance Officer

Ann Marie Swanson joined Aletheia in 2010 as Chief Compliance Officer. Prior to Aletheia, Ms. Swanson served as Chief Compliance Officer and Chief Legal Officer for Transamerica Investment Services, LLC (“TIS”). Her roles included overseeing and managing compliance-related issues within the organization and ensuring the company complied with regulatory requirements. As Chief Legal Officer, Ms. Swanson was responsible for advising the company on various Investment Advisers Act, Investment Company Act and ERISA legal issues, as well as general legal issues associated with the corporation. Ms. Swanson previously worked as Chief Compliance Officer for Post Advisory Group, Assistant General Counsel for Baring Asset Management and in various legal and compliance roles for The Boston Company Asset Management Group, Fleet Investment Services and the United States Department of Labor. She rejoined TIS in 2008 after serving as Legal Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer from 2001-2004. Ms. Swanson earned her Juris Doctor from Suffolk University School of Law, and she received a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in political science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
